Let's start off 2021 feeling in-control, INSPIRED and POSITIVE!
Doesn’t that sound AWESOME?! I think we’re all ready for some positivity!
OK … so … we’re just about ready to wrap up 2020 and welcome in a brand new year!
I know for a lot of people, the end of 2020 can’t come soon enough. The events of this year affected almost everyone’s mindset and motivation.
I’m not talking about any one specific thing, like Covid-19, natural disasters, politics, violence, or the economy! Among many others.
It’s all those things COMBINED. They piled up and wreaked havoc on many people’s mindset, focus, and motivation.
It made our day-to-day world SMALLER. Even physically, because many of us didn’t even leave our homes for quite a while.
On a positive note, the craziness of 2020 helped reset our priorities so that we were able to hone in on what mattered most to us.
And for the most part, that meant the basics – things like security, our family, our homes, and our health.
But at the same time, many of us set almost everything else aside – our plans, health, goals, and dreams!
It’s time to move some of those things front and center again! And to think about doing the things that get you EXCITED about the future and all the possibilities it holds.
Doesn’t that sound empowering?
A new year is like a clean slate … which makes it a perfect time to start reaching for those goals. Or even resetting or rethinking some of your older goals in a way that gets you psyched about them again!
And that’s the key to it all: ALLOWING yourself to feel positive, optimistic, and excited about whatever it is you want to accomplish.
Here’s the fun exercise I mentioned!
Take some time to think about this.
What can YOU do for YOU in 2021 that will help you feel better, move better, and be generally happier and healthier?
Let your mind be open to all possibilities!
Think about it, journal about it, write it all down.
Think about the EXACT steps you can take to start making those things happen.
2021 is a brand new year. Let’s not bring an old “2020” mindset into it!
Because if you want to create real CHANGE, you have to THINK and ACT differently than you are right now!
Figure out what that looks like for YOU.
